Holey Skin is
environmental health registered
and maintains the highest standards of hygiene.
As would be expected, brand new needles
are used for every tattoo and piercing. All
equipment is autoclaved after each use and
autoclaves are spore tested regularly - so put
simply - hygiene equipment is maintained and
tested on a regular basis. To state again -Holey
Skin has recently installed brand new
State-of-the-Art Print Autoclaves
in all 3 studios as well as brand new
ultrasonic cleaners. Autoclave test
records are available on request. Furthermore,
as per recent hygiene legislation each studio
has a separate sterilization room
to prevent any possible risk of cross
contamination.
Tattooists
use only fresh inks of the
highest market specification which are poured
into new disposable ink caps. No surplus ink is
at any time re-used. Tattoo & Piercing Artists
wear gloves at all times and make multiple glove
changes per client as necessary. Any item that
may be touched during the tattoo process is
covered in disposable plastic film to avoid the
possibility of cross-contamination and all
surfaces are thoroughly cleaned with Trigene
disinfectant after each client. Furthermore all
studios are fitted with non-porous
wall and floor material to ensure thorough
cleaning. |
